Dr. Hasan Işıklı taught theoretical and applied courses in the visual communication design department at Yaşar University during and after his PhD studies in art at Ghent University, and worked on cultural heritage projects in the private sector, foundations, and institutes. Since 2024, he has been organizing graphic design-related workshops for children and adults at Hi Journey Art and Design Studio, which he founded.
Sena Selek, during her studies in International Relations, turned to digital content production by combining strategic thinking with visual storytelling. For the past seven years, she has been working in the fields of content strategy, SEO-friendly texts, and digital storytelling; as a researcher in TÜBİTAK projects, she transforms complex data into impressive visual reports. Selek, who won second prize in the YTB short story competition, continues to produce work based on writing, collage, and narrative.
Naci Zeybekler has worked in marketing communications and sales management across various industries. He developed content strategies to strengthen brands' digital presence. He has led projects in social media, video production, and digital advertising. He continues to create compelling digital stories by providing consulting services to various brands.
M. Hami Kural graduated from the Graphic Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University. Following this, he worked as an Art Director and Creative Director in international and local advertising agencies in Izmir and Istanbul. During this time, he designed advertising campaigns and above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) communication materials for many popular domestic and international brands.
Since 2014, drawing on his 24 years of experience in advertising agencies, he has been working as a freelance visual designer, providing branding, corporate identity, and packaging design services to his own clients. He also continues his illustration work uninterrupted.
Ece Erkal completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at METU (Middle East Technical University). She has corporate work experience in banking and finance. Her master's thesis in marketing focused on the marketing of art products and its applications in Izmir. Blending business, marketing, and coaching perspectives, she continues to provide freelance observation, evaluation, training, and consulting services on personal branding. She contributes to the Hi Journey team by exploring how the social and cultural environment, artistic consumption habits, and interactions of individuals are reflected in brand identity.
Dr. Mutlu Kızılbuga graduated from Ege University Faculty of Communication with a focus on photography and cinema. He then completed his master's and doctoral studies in Turkish Folklore at the Ege University Institute of Turkish World Studies. During her postgraduate studies, he focused on intangible cultural heritage and ancient Turkic beliefs, participating in various research projects in these areas. She held a solo exhibition of photographs taken in Kazakhstan while preparing her doctoral thesis, and also participated in a group exhibition. Kızılbuga, who has won awards in international photography competitions, has published academic books and articles, as well as writings in various journals and fanzines.
